All of Me by A.L. Jackson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow, a book like this deserves more than 5 stars…
This is so much more than a romance story. Your emotions will be sucker punched and gripped in all the ways you want them to be and more. Lust and Love, Triumph and Joy, Tears, Heartbreak, and being left with that feeling that these two characters will stay with you forever.
Ian’s life has never been easy, infact it was nothing but downright traumatic, now even as an adult, it colours his life choices and keeps his heart closed.
Grace, thought she had found love, but instead is now facing a future that no mother could contemplate, but she is a fighter and a woman you heart joins, and gladly stands beside for the upcoming battle for not only herself but for her children.

OH my how this couple will own you, their connection is addicting, their strength leaves you in admiration, but more than that is how this couple face life and learn not only that they are worthy, That they can depend on family, that they can have it all!! It was a heartache and a joy watching them grow and learn that they deserve and are capable of showing, receiving and having that LOVE of your Live that will reside forever in your soul!! I know for sure they will always have a place in mine !!!

All of Me (Confessions of the Heart, #2)

Bad ReputationBad Reputation by S.L. Scott
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hutton Everest, charmer, bad boy, and player, but oh my he could charm me any day.
He’s in a non defined type of relationship with a girl called Aly, and he knows he feels so much more for her than he maybe should. Just when he feels the time is right to make their relationship into more and permanent, his fairy tale ends when she leaves with no explanations and dashing all hopes of a possible future. Of course he eventually find out the reason and jumps at the chance to confront her again.
Aly knows Hutton is the love of her life, and is devastated to leave, but she has commitments and a life beyond her control. This couple melted my heart, they really were the modern day fairy tale and found the kind of love we all want, but as is in real life, reality always comes to kick our backsides. With everything against them, we are privvy to their fight for love against the odds.
Loved it!! We all need a fairy tale ending sometimes !!!

Lock

Lock by Debra Anastasia

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the third book in this series and although they can be read as standalones, I would have highly recommend reading the books in order, because alone they are awesome but together WOW!! MIND AND HEART BLOWN !!!
This is Ember’s story, sister of the infamous Assassin Mercy. At 19 years old, Ember wants her independence and to go off to college like any other young adult wanting to find her place in the world. Of course nothing is ever going to deter Mercy from protecting his sister and she gets to go to college but with conditions and body guards.
Lock is a young man, with the weight of the world on his shoulders, and is entering gang life, feeling its the only way he can help his family.
When Lock and Ember collide and connect in the most unusual of circumstances, a beautiful love story begins. A love story that is fraught with danger, lies, coercion, violence and trauma.
Omg what a ride, both of suspense and Heart melting romance combined. My emotions had no escape from the assault between tender sweet love to to cussing and rage at what both Ember and Lock had inflicted upon them. I almost felt i was right there fighting their battles right along side them!! With each twist that had me anxious to the point that it couldn’t get worse, this author brings you right to the cliff edge !! I already loved these characters from the first two books, I met Lock in this book,an he left me in awe, his sweet and at times humorous romance of Ember in such circumstances just left me in a puddle. Now i can honestly say that I ADORE each and every one of them! This is a family that will stop at nothing when it comes to each others welfare. BRAVO !!!

Across the HorizonAcross the Horizon by Aly Martinez
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was an easy 5* for me, because sometimes we just find a book that becomes one of our unforgetable reads!
Tanner Reese is a hot shot celebrity chef, life is good right? Maybe on a professional level yet, but on the personal front, he’s adrift. Tired of the cycle of numerous women and being used for his celebrity status rather that for who he is.
Rita’s world has just crashed around her feet, discovering her husband is a cheat and realising the life she had isn’t the life she had ever really wanted. Yes she has a lot to deal with.
On meeting their attraction is instant, and i loved the banter, humour and the way their relationship developed and ohh the angst! We know right from the start nothing for this couple is going to be easy, and it wasn’t. I think i fell in love with Tanner’s abs as much as every other woman had!! lol Loved the pace of this book, i loved everything about it and couldn’t put it down. Infact it was the perfect recipe and will quickly become one of your favorites !!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book although Book 3 in a series can be read as a standalone, although if you haven’t yet got to read any of this authors, Good Girl Series, i would highly recommend them!
Who doesn’t love a tattooed bad boy? This book and series definitely holds some of my most favorite tatted hotties.
Brandon meets “Charlie” when she rents his space beside his tattoo parlour to open her own bakery, its been her dream. She’s a little bit shy, a little bit clumsy and a big bit gorgeous and Brandon is totally intrigued and attracted her from first sight.
I loved how this couple hit it off and connected immediately, and i loved how their relationship developed. Neither was looking for relationships or love but i guess none of us can escape Love when it hits. This author gives us characters that just feel down to earth REAL!! so its easy to get consumed by their friendship and their lives. Laughs tears and swoon with a book you don’t want to put down or end, it doesn’t get better !!!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

More, gives us exactly what it says.. MORE
This is Jonas (Oldest Ryder Brother) and Hadley’s story, and we get so much more than a Badboy Rockers love story.
Jonas is almost a recluse, disenchanted with the music industry, and refuses to enter the music world again. He lived through trying to protect his brothers from the music industries sharks, till he had nothing left to give. This is a man with deep issues even though he floundering
He meets Hadley at his brothers wedding and yes he is that one the sneaks the woman off for a little one on one !! If you get my drift !! Hot as Hell !!!
Hadley is a life coach but she’s also at a bit of a turning point herself, she’s great with helping people but no so good at advising herself.
I loved this story, Jonas is definitely the most troubled of the brothers yet hes also so easy to love, its that lost little puppy about him. He disengaged from the things he loves most, his family and his music. He can’t keep his mind or his hands off Hadley and I loved how they became entangled. Both wanting no strings, and both denying what was between them… until they couldn’t. I devoured their ups and downs leading to them gaining Love, but most of all i loved watching them grow back into themselves and bloom !!! Three Brothers, Nick, Jake and Jonas, i don’t know how these authors decided who wrote which brother but each and everyone of them has been a fantastic journey i am so glad i travelled !!!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Definite 5 stars for this beautifully written book that deals with delicate subjects and one that most women will have experiences of in some shape or form. Bitchy Bullying, assumptions, lies, truths, peer pressure, sexual pressure and this author has written this book in a way that will appeal to everyone of every age and make us also look inside ourselves. When women and young girls don’t come forward when they have been the victim, because of guilt of feeling they themselves are responsible for someone else’s actions against them, shame, fear and that massive doubt, of being believed and judged. I gotta tell you, this book hits home with an impact that won’t soon leave you !!
Dimnah has always been a great student, that is until this her final year. She couldn’t belive it when her childhood friend and crush asked her to prom. His actions not only left her heartbroken, they destroyed her faith in herself. Thing is .. ever since she returned to school after that she’s been living through a hell. Now she’s alone, an outcast, bullied, mimicked, rumours, name calling, Slut, Tramp, Whore, have all become her daily normals. Until Aron, who see’s behind the mask.
I loved how this story was written, we learn both the past events, and the present, and with each chapter my heart broke a little more. i cried for this young girl, i think most of us at some point maybe have witnessed someone facing bullying or been bullied, or listened to rumour or we have judged based on rumours, without ever thinking of the pain or hurt its causing. I loved how Aron supported Dimnah yet never pushed her, he saw her strength and let her claim it back !!!!
I only had one problem with this book, i just really hope we get more of Dimnah and Aron!! we need more !!!

Not the Same (Not Alone Novellas, Book #2)

Not the Same by Gianna Gabriela

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An easy 5 stars for this one.
This is Aron’s story, its a story of pain, hurt, anguish, trust destroyed, betrayed and a young man living with pressures no child should endure. Son of a drug dealer and alcoholic, Aron has spent his life trying to be a parent for his younger brother whilst struggling to stay at school. This book tore at my heart, so many young people now are actually living through these kind of situations, and this author has written a harsh subject beautifully that gives you as many tears as smiles. Characters that are down to earth and real, make it easy to get caught in their life. His devotion to his brother, just warmed my heart to the core. This book pulls a lot of punches and really makes you think and i love when that happens with a book. When it reminds us that life isn’t always roses, and we never know what someone is dealing with. Aron gained my love, with his heart, his determination and his ability to love, even when he had been dealt nothing but vinegar.

ReWined: Volume 2 (Party Ever After, #2)

ReWined: Volume 2 by Kim Karr

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved both the first book in this Series and the Characters! So i couldn’t wait to get my lil hands on this one!
Book one lets us get to know both Tyler and Paris, and their pasts, this book gives us their new developing relationship, with a jump start !!! Negotiations are full on for their upcoming marriage to save both their business’s, Tyler wants a real marriage but Paris is still hesitant to trust him. Oh boy, this couple has me all kinds of hot under the collar. Fun, yet serious, hot yet cold, they really put you from the frying pan into the fire!! I adore Tyler, he’s every girls dream with a side of alphaholeishness!! and all in the right proportions!! Paris is a girl that in many ways is still finding herself and her confidence. Both have their issues stemming from their joint pasts. But just as we feel our hearts content that they are gonna make it, the curve balls start arriving like wrecking balls!!! Ending on a cliff hanger with the next book coming very soon makes me happy because 1. I can’t get enough of this pair and 2. I can’t freaking wait to see what is going to happen next!! I’M DYING WITH NEED!!!

ReWined: Volume 3 (Party Ever After, #3)

ReWined: Volume 3 by Kim Karr

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The explosive third book in this Trilogy and I just couldn’t wait to dive in. This is most definitely one of my favorite cliff hanging series of this year.
Paris and Tyler, now married and desperately seeking truths and coming to terms with their pasts. I love Tyler, he always seems to mess up without even trying!! But it’s his heart and soul that owns you. Paris is dealing with her past, and the loss of her father. This couple just have to make it!! I have loved every minute of their fun filled, yet serious journey and i think they have become my favorite characters from this author. They are sassy, they are quirky, they are hot!! and i didn’t really want their adventures to end and i loved getting to know them and their pasts.
